It’s a week before my big move to New Orleans — the land of both “brutal” heat and afternoon showers. I’m anxious to meet fellow artists, to experiment with silk screen, and to finally to able to take public transportation again. This piece is an ode to old bicycles everywhere (especially the ones with wicker baskets). Until Day Four.
The sun did not shine down on me today. As it poured in Watkisville, I painted a Tuscan landscape instead (always a favorite). If I could move anywhere in the world, I would choose a place on the hilltops. . .
